About us

Our passion for rare, antique and vintage books, from first editions to fabulous paperbacks, has grown to encompass maps and prints, comics and posters, photographs and ephemera - and more. We’ve been buying and selling for over twenty years so our shop has ended up somewhere between Mr Gruber’s shop from Paddington, and Black Books. We buy "magpie fashion", i.e. there’s no particular system at all, but everything goes through our rigorous selection process, which is: we like it and would happily live with it if we had the room.

Our online shop lists only a small number of items we have for sale. Come and visit us at our shop in Greenwich Market or get in touch if something catches your eye. Prices range from £5 to £1,000, so there’s something for everyone. We are happy to arrange delivery, or to reserve it if you want to take a look first.
